One continuous line, drawn from your photo
A single-line portrait is drawn without lifting the pen: one unbroken stroke that describes a face, a silhouette, or a whole family. Lynez builds that line from the structure of your own photograph, so the result keeps the particularities of the person in the picture rather than producing a generic face.
The output is deliberately minimal. There is no shading and no background — only the line. That is what makes it read well at print size on a wall, and what makes it suitable for 3D printing, where a single raised line is physically printable and a greyscale image is not.
What you get
Every order starts from the same generation. From there you choose the format:
- A physical print — a small print from ₪49 or a large print from ₪89, shipped worldwide.
- A digital STL file — ₪10, delivered immediately, ready to 3D print at home or through a print service.
Upload a photo
Choose a clear photo of the person or people you want drawn. JPEG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF are all accepted.
Generate the line
The photo is reduced to a single continuous line in about 30 to 60 seconds. You can watch it happen.
Order the print or the file
Take it as a physical print shipped worldwide, or download the STL file and print it yourself.
Portraits of people
Head-and-shoulders shots convert most cleanly. The line keeps the profile, the hairline, and the shape of the face.
Couples and families
Two or more subjects work when they are close together, so the line can travel between them in one stroke.
Pets
Animal portraits work well because the outline and ears carry so much of the likeness on their own.
Prints and 3D files
The same artwork becomes either a framed print or an STL file, so it suits a wall or a printer.
Choosing the right photo
The strongest results come from photos where the subject is clearly separated from what is behind them. A busy background introduces lines that belong to neither the person nor the portrait. Good light and a reasonably straight-on angle matter more than camera quality.
If you are unsure, generate one and look at it. The first generation on a new account is free, so you can try the photo you had in mind before ordering anything.
Single-line portraits as a gift
Because the drawing is made from a specific photograph, it works as a personal gift for an anniversary, a wedding, a birthday, a new baby, or in memory of someone. A framed print reads as a considered present; the STL file suits someone with a 3D printer. See the gallery for portraits generated from real customer photos.

Frequently asked questions
What photo works best for a single-line portrait?
A clear, well-lit photo with one main subject works best. A head-and-shoulders shot against a plain background gives the cleanest line. Photos of at least 500×500 pixels and under 10MB give the sharpest result.
Can the portrait include more than one person?
Yes. Couples, families, and pets all work. Keep the subjects reasonably close together and facing the camera so the single continuous line reads clearly.
Is the portrait a photo filter or a real drawing?
It is a generated single continuous line traced from the structure of your photo, not a filter applied on top of it. The result is a minimalist line drawing in the style of one-line art.
How long does it take?
Most portraits generate in 30 to 60 seconds. You can follow progress on the generation page.
Can I 3D print the portrait myself?
Yes. The digital STL file is made for 3D printing, so you can print the portrait at home or send it to a print service. It is available immediately after payment.
What does a custom single-line portrait cost?
A small print is ₪49, a large print is ₪89, and the digital STL file is ₪10. Shipping is ₪30 and free on orders over ₪200. Checkout is charged in Israeli shekels (ILS); other currencies shown are estimates.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. Physical prints ship worldwide. Digital STL files are downloadable as soon as payment completes.
